The 26th edition of the Bayeux Prize for War Correspondents will be held from October 7 to 13, 2019.
Gary Knight: President of the Jury
He is one of the most seasoned war photographers of our time and will preside over the jury this year. Gary Knight’s photos were published by Newsweek, Time, The Sunday Times, The New York Times, Paris Match, Stern, and National Geographic. His work has been exhibited around the world, and is part of the collections of several museums. Gary Knight is also co-founder and director of Agency VII.
Journalists, send your photo coverages now and until June 7th.
Photo, radio, television and print media reporting on a conflict situation or a news item concerning the defense of liberties and democracy must be sent before June 7 for the 2019 selection.
They must have been made between June 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019, and each compete for a grant of € 7,000.
Young Reporter Award: in 2019, the category concerned is the print media. As this is a different category depending on the year, the report presented must be made between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2019.
