Bassenge is pleased to announce our upcoming photography auction, set for June 4th, 2025, at 3:00 PM CET. Presenting a remarkable journey through the history of photography, this sale brings together pioneering 19th-century masters, icons of 20th-century modernism, and influential voices of contemporary photography.

From the contemporary section, Bernd and Hilla Becher’s rare large-format industrial study Hochofen, Hainer Hütte, Siegen stands out with an estimate of €8,000.
Also featured are Nobuyoshi Araki’s playful and provocative Untitled (Watermelon on the Rooftop), offered at €5,000, and Diane Arbus’s emotionally charged Woman in her Negligée, N.Y.C., printed by Neil Selkirk in 1972, carrying an estimate of €4,000.
