Created in 2002 by an artists’ collective, the Festival Manifesto – Rencontres photographiques de Toulouse is Toulouse’s invitation to the new international photographic creation.
The 16th edition of the festival opened on September 14 and will be held until September 29, 2018.
The Jury of the 2018 festival is composed of: Martine Voyeux, photographer guest of honor of the festival, (Metis agency), Brigitte Ollier, journalist specialized in photography at the newspaper Libération, Laura Covelli and Aldo Mendichi of the festival della Fotografia Etica de lodi (Italy), Philippe Guionie, photographer (Myop agency), professor at ETPA in Toulouse, artistic director of the 1 + 2 residence in Toulouse.
12 talents have been selected: Vincent BENGOLD / Fabrice CAZENEUVE / Patricia COMBACAL / Philippe DOLLO / Nahia GARAT / Sophie KNITTEL / Shinwook KIM / Tomasz LACZNY / Kamille LÉVÊQUE-JÉGO / CharlotteSCHMITZ / Christophe SPIESSER / Emmanuel TUSSORE
Each selected photographer has a 20-foot cargo container to present his work to the public.
