A valet’s view
I’m a valet, and thanks to this job, I was able to work in Chamonix and Val d’Isère, taking advantage of my free time to capture photos.
Then I’d go on vacation once the contract was up, and it was back to hunting for photos.
This series involves work over three years, with many hours of hiking in classic black and white. Although I vary the colors and black and white, I’m presenting a monochrome series to keep the focus on one style.
These are mainly winter photos of Chamonix, but also of Dublin, Saint-Léger-Les-Mélèzes and Val d’Isère.
I’ve tried to present this not as a series of vacation photos, but as a series of contemplations.
