Journey Through Time : Iceland
Ascending through the Highlands of North Iceland is an epic adventure that reveals a sense of the beginning the time, the formation of our precious planet. It is reminiscent of a moonscape, the peaks of volcanoes give way to glacially formed rivers that lead to powerful waterfalls that create vibrant pockets of green while the fury of the cascading water carves a path of its own. As I traveled throughout Iceland, I was overwhelmed by the majestic landscape and the extremes of icebergs floating and geothermal pockets of cauldrons seeping hot bubbling molten to the earth’s surface. Capturing the essence of this pristine and primal earth was an experience beyond imagination.
