“Les Mystères de Paris / Paris Mysteries” is a series of photographs from 2010 and 2015 documenting the ordinary life of people in Paris, with a special focus on artists working ‘en plein air’ and people surrounded by (and represented in) urban art. Inspired by photographers like Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, and Doisneau, I walk around all sections of Paris—including ethnically diverse sections—capturing life “on the run.” I frame my subjects quickly and spontaneously—often without their awareness.
