Scenes in the Park
I have always made it a point to visit parks, in cities that I have visited over the years. Parks like Central Park in NY, Parc Mt. Royal in Montreal, Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, Hyde Park in London, and many others, offer a temporary escape from the boisterous hustling sounds and intense activity which are common today in these modern cities. Parks serve as a temporary refuge for people; to experience moments of solitude, escape from their demons, or just to bond with friends and pets. There is always a sort of soft tranquility to these soothing spaces.
I always try to convey a certain feeling or mood, in my photographs. It is the recording of an unconscious moment, something from my past, or even deeper that I try to show. Hopefully, these photographs allow the viewer to share in this mood by recalling or experiencing their own personal moments.
