The legendary designer Pierre Cardin has died at 98. I photographed him in 2007 at the fabled castle of the Marquis de Sade that he restored, and sits atop a hill in Lacoste, France. What an amazing character, and as in so many cases in my life, I feel lucky to have met such an incredible person. Thanks to Cyril Viguier for introducing us.
