They were clean, well framed, the light was OK, but did not give me satisfaction. We could not find the atmosphere and magic of the Marais Poitevins, we did not “see” any elves or fires, we did not feel lost in our boat in the middle of this labyrinth.
I recently reworked these photos with Photoshop. With lots of layers, frames, games on densities, levels, saturation etc, I got a much closer effect to what I was looking for.
