In 1894, Cézanne met Monet and said: “Monet, it’s only an eye … but, God, what an eye! “. This reflection, which pays homage to the impressionist painter, seems to apply perfectly to define the photographic look tinged with aestheticism of the contemporary German artist Cornelia Poupard.
