Conrado Rafael P. Maleta’ (Sarid-Maleta) is a cuban architect and artist. Born in 1979 (32 yso) in Santiago de Cuba; left the island in 2006 living for a long time in Madrid, Spain. Today the artist residence is in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Mainly the photography came to him through the work as painter. Usually the first works had been conected with the preparation of canvas and big size drawings. As architect has a personal interest in to explore the limits between material, technique and visual expressions in photography. A big group of works have a long process for to be created including strong chemical manipulation of negatives and intentional damage of works.
