1 Year, 2 People, 200 Sq. Ft.
These images were taken since Covid-19 struck in March 2020 and hit pause on all our lives.
My husband and I live in a small studio in New York City and, although aware of the limited space, we never imagined that we would be ‘locked’ in it for a whole year (still counting).
Some days, the space seemed to have shrunk so tight that it could cut the airflow. Other days, it seemed just right and I felt blessed for having a roof over my head.
These feelings deeply affected our moods, our tolerance toward each other, making us experiencing emotions with more intensity and power than on ‘normal’ days.
These images are a photo diary.
