Sometimes the planets align, including in photography.

Under the incredible blue of a Provençal sky, and with the complicity of a river whose water is exceptionally transparent, the colors mix from the yellow to the autumnal red of the leaves of the trees. The bright green of the seaweed ripples in the current, as the colors of nearby houses transform into ripples and swirls. All this is just a ball organized by the great midday sun, the very one that has the power to sublimate colors to the point of the unreal and the impossible. So, more than ever, open your eyes wide!

Because, if you look carefully, beyond the seductive wild trout which sports its dress of black and red dots, another spectacle you witness just above it, on the surface, where, alas, too few nobody notices the existence of an incessant brush of colors, of an incredible, natural beauty, which wanders between flamboyance and nuances, so that ephemeral works worthy of the art of the painter Claude Monet follow one another.

Because here, the real artist is none other than nature, and in front of such a genius, the photographer, under the spell, is nothing more than his humble witness…

On a technical level, in these shots, there is simply a basic development, which consists of cropping and optimizing the levels of light or noise. Here, no special technique was therefore used, neither during shooting nor in post-production.

Far from what generally occupies me in my experimental approach to the art of shooting, and in my research on the use of the line of light, for once, I only strolled, admired, and capture the works of a nature that has already understood everything about art and science, long before all of us.
