Unoïse
Inspired by the Ancients who drew figures thanks to the constellations, I sought to draw my own corporeal and celestial map. For a long time, I thought science could explain everything. However, there are so many questions that remain unanswered… These voids, these mysteries pave the most beautiful and sinuous of roads: that of the imagination.
In the twists and turns of daydreaming, we are guided by our senses, our perceptions and by our body, which acts as a compass. This series revolves around the female body and space. I wanted to interweave their representations in order to question our ability to symbolize the cosmos and the relationship that unites us to it. Merging universe and human, it is called Unoïse.
