Frank Folwell, former head of the USA Today photo department, is based in Washington but teaches visual communication techniques at Chinese universities. He understood the value of digital photography very early, and took part in the photographic design of major events, including the Beijing Olympics, the US Presidential Elections and even the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
