In July 2014, Qihui and his team began the project of Never Faded Memory. They interviewed and photographed more than 150 soldiers in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province who had experienced the anti-Japanese war. His works consists of their portraits, some of them wearing medals, and some other subjects of that period. And their stories since the war were also recorded.
In honor of China’s victory in the anti-Japanese war and the end of World War II, China Nationality Photography Art Publishing House published the album Never Faded Memory which reflects on the past history and pays tribute to those soldiers.
