This is the spirit of Chaumont-Photo-sur-Loire, which each autumn welcomes photographic works that make the Domaine resonate with questions of the visible, of presence, and of time. Here, photography does not illustrate. It reveals, suggests, sometimes unsettles. Each invited photographer enters into a relationship with the château’s interior and exterior spaces to compose an original parcours in which the image becomes experience.
