L’Aventure générale, presented at CENTQUATRE, takes you back through the course of pluralists works from this inexhaustible traveler in the fields of art, photography, cinema and literature.
The exhibition, rather forward-looking, allows us to take stock of the work of a fertile artist who experiments relentlessly and refuses to settle in reassuring harmony.
Alain Fleischer uses 27340 SQfeet of the CENTQUATRE spaces by exhibiting more than 40 works and installations.
The Halle Aubervilliers is the site of a new monumental Nowhere / Now here installation and several of his works are interactive, such as À la recherche de Stella, Je ne suis qu’une image et Le Tableau/la séance.
He also exhibits a set of works retracing the career of an artist, filmmaker, novelist, photographer: Autant en emporte le vent, Les aventures de la lumière, Le regard des morts, Le voyage du brise-glace, L’escalier sous la mer, Papiers d’argent ….
