Blind Civilization

In a fragile chiaroscuro, a woman looks away.
She refuses to face what is collapsing: a planet wounded by the excesses of humanity.
The candle flickers like the last breath of a world, while the fragile porcelain cracks, reflecting a civilization that believes itself eternal.

Around her, the stuffed animals – hedgehog, birds – become specters. Silent, almost vanished presences, witnesses to a broken balance.
The climate is destabilizing, ecosystems are shattering, and we persist in looking away, prisoners of our habits.

These images tell of the absence of gaze, the indifference that feeds disaster.
They ask a simple, urgent question: what will remain when the flame goes out?
