C+C Photography Gallery presents Nathan Coe: Tranquility, during all summer at 30 A Main Street on Nantucket.
In his 2024 Nantucket series, Coe’s newest landscapes explore a sort of quiet minimalism, while his nudes take on a more lighthearted, and at times, even playful tone. Featured works include The Inky, in which Coe has managed to quickly snap a nearly impossible moment of stillness on busy Main Street as his model seems utterly unfazed, her nose deep in the daily newspaper. Another work of note is Enlightenment, taken just behind Quidnet where the footprints of beach wanderers and car tracks intersect softly into the distance.
