Fairytales in the Forest
I’m lucky enough to live in a privileged spot next to the forest.
The undergrowth behind my house is truly enchanting in spring! White and purple carpets of anemones, wild garlic and wild hyacinths plunge us into another world, and enchant us with their scents and colors. I love to soak up this magical atmosphere as the sun sets over the horizon.
These timeless moments allow me to connect intimately with nature, to recharge my batteries after a hard day’s work, or to start the day with the beautiful energy of spring, a symbol of rebirth.
When I wander through the forest, I feel as if I’ve stepped into another world, a fairytale world where anything is possible. A bit like Alice going down the rabbit hole! In fact, it’s not unusual for me to follow a wild rabbit into the forest!
It’s this magic that I want to share through my photography, and also an awareness that nature is as beautiful as it is fragile, that we owe it everything, and that it’s essential that we learn to respect it.
I like to take advantage of natural light and play with the sun’s rays in my photographic compositions. I’m also very careful to work on my depth of field to obtain the most harmonious bokeh possible.
My intention is to convey the fairytale atmosphere as best I could.
