After graduating from photography school, Camille Cier left for the United States. She found an atmosphere there conducive to her powerful brand of humanist photography, with its elements of art brut. She moved to Paris in 2012, where she took up contact her old friends, all mothers now, whom she used in her new series Mère à l’enfant.
