When I think of your photos, I don’t imagine an inquisitive eye, a chosen moment, a dramatic perspective, panoramas, surprising close-ups, symbols, no, I imagine corners. Each photo shows a corner protecting what ended nesting there.
The corner is normally hidden. You alone know the way that leads there. What nests there, maybe a teenager, a plant, a tree in winter… Your photos – it seems to me are taken, not to show or reveal, but rather to protect this world what has been swept mercilessly for twenty years by a wind of withdrawal and indifference.
