Ceuta
After questioning the borders and connection between our cities with the project Transit, we want to broaden our horizons to the rest of Europe, in particular a border town where the economic differences between it and its neighboring continent are the largest.
We had heard of the deadly stampedes that have occurred in Ceuta, the price paid for its privileged status as a free port and the contact point between the Schengen zone and the African continent. We wanted to know what this Spanish town on the Moroccan coast looked like. How was its shaped by its status as a market town? Who lived there? Our approach led us to the limits of reporting, and our questions were left unanswered.
Founded in 2006, the Collectif du Grain à Moudre is comprised of four photographers: Cédric Friggeri, Arno Brignon, Julien Pebrel and David Ameye.
