They are the featured guests of the 11th Balades photographiques de Daoulas, which will be held at the abbey until November 30th.
They are named Antoine and Francette Le Guennec, and they are exhibiting their images from their numerous travels around the world. Antoine began this adventure as a singer, but the discovery of sailing in 1974 and a major life-changing decision led him to set off, initially alone, aboard a schooner… 50 years of sailing the oceans, a trace of which we share with you today with these magnificent island images. Pierre Antoine Muraccioli, better known by his singer-songwriter name Antoine, boasts a wealth of experience and talent. From the benches of the Ecole Centrale in Paris, to the stages of the whole world with his songs – including the famous ” élucubrations ” in 1966 – he is today, in duo with his wife Francette, a traveler/navigator photographer and videographer.
