August photographies presents “At home Spring 2020” a photographic project and participatory.
Each household is invited to paint a picture of its confinement. Two instructions are given: all people must be present on the image and the camera or smartphone self-timer must be used (selfies are not allowed!). The originality of the project is there, in the search for a framing, a staging, a light, the photographer seems to be there, behind the camera…
The images sent join the online gallery on the August photographies website. They come from all over France, Berlin, Montreal, Denmark and Algeria.
A beautiful community is growing every day. Hélène Bossy and Clothilde Grandguillot invite you to do your portrait, to join their gallery and keep in your album an image of this strange spring 2020.

Created in 2017 by photographers Hélène Bossy and Clothilde Grandguillot, August is a mobile photo studio that reinvents the tradition of “portrait at the photographer’s place”.
August’s studio sets up at the heart of events, in communities, in businesses to photograph guests or employees. It also travels to families to capture moments of life.
