India
Hello, my name is Artem Khazov, and for over five years, I have been involved in photography. My favorite genres are street, documentary, and reportage photography. I believe that to grow in these directions, it is necessary to travel the world and capture through photography those moments that can be experienced.
After all, if we don’t expand our boundaries, we begin to stagnate and stop seeing. This belief led me to India, where I lived for a month. Choosing to abandon standard routes and guides, I decided to simply wander the streets of cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Varanasi, Gurgaon, and Agra.
Taking the metro to various bazaars, attending local festivals, and observing how the local population moves from city to city, I tried to capture the moments of these people’s lives without interfering in the proceedings. In my works, you can observe local customs, impoverished people, believers, as well as their attempts to survive.
After my journey, I consider India an amazing country with incredible culture but an absolutely dreadful attitude towards human life. Continuing my path as a photographer, I headed to Nepal, and currently, I am in Vietnam. I would like to leave a link to my portfolio, and if any of my works interest you, I would be happy to share them with you.
