The Rencontres Live Magazine was launched one night in Arles six years ago. The idea was to create, in the Théâtre Antique, a “99% real” ephemeral experience: a group of photographers, artists, filmmakers and journalists who would tell with a great deal of trepidation what they could not tell elsewhere, thus founding, for one evening only, a living newspaper. Once again this year, the “pages” will be turned, the “sections” will be covered, and we will move from one subject to another, from an intimate story to a global investigation, celebrating the power of the image.
