One for Two for One, this new creative research by Thierry Maindrault is based on all the forms of the various and varied links which are created, which assert themselves and are intertwined in the relations of couples who lived together for many years.
Gradually there is an important mimicry between the two members of each union on the physical plane as well as on the various intellectual and psychological levels. These bonds that keep the two people together provoke a progressive fusion into a single being like two closely linked trees will mutually phagocyte each other. This is how a real chimera appears in the imaginary of their environment.
It is with this totally impalpable concept that the photographic tools make it possible to challenge, in the illusion of the frozen light, the reflection and the understanding of the readers in front of the image.
The dialogue imposed by the photographs abolishes all the antagonisms related to age, sex, aspect or any other controversies likely to generate divisions dialectical or moral.
Thierry MAINDRAULT
This creative, after his passages at the Ecole du Louvre and the French Institute of Photography, worked a few years on several aspects of photography. Then, he practiced and he carried out a career very related to creativity and creations, in all their forms. With the new millennium, he takes over the photographic tools to refine his research to fix the illusions of time. His range of photographic works are regularly exhibited in large contemporary meetings.
