The Board Culture Exposure festival returns to the Casino de Biarritz for its second edition from 24 October to 1 November. Amateur and professional photographers are invited to share their unique vision of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding by submitting their best shots by 31 May. Entries are now open!
The first event of its kind in France, the B.C.E. was born out of a deep-rooted desire to help as many people as possible discover the photographic works that emerge from this culture, and to highlight the unique relationship that exists between athletes and those who document their exploits. It’s open to everyone, professionals and amateurs alike, wherever they are in the world.
This cultural and artistic event celebrates those who are passionate about photography and board sports, offering them a new space for expression and unprecedented visibility. The aim of B.C.E. is to celebrate the best of skate, surf and snowboard culture by showcasing the work of the most talented photographers. In view of the success of the first edition in 2024 and in order to give as many people as possible the opportunity to come and admire the works, the 2nd edition will be held over a period of 9 days from 24 October to 1 November 2025, still in the Diane lounge at the Casino de Biarritz.
The winners in the various categories will receive their trophies from the members of the jury and the partners at the awards ceremony on Saturday 25 October 2025 in the Salon Diane of the Casino Municipal de Biarritz, at the heart of the exhibition.
One winner will be crowned in each category: Skateboard, Surf, Snowboard, Lifestyle & Reportage.
The Grand Prix Du Jury, presented by Leica, will be awarded to the best photograph in all categories; the winner will receive a Leica camera and a Leica lens.
The Public Prize will be awarded to the photograph that receives the most votes on our Instagram account.
Details of the prizes awarded to each winner will be announced at a later date. All the finalist photographs will be exhibited in the Diane Room at the Casino Municipal de Biarritz from 24 October to 1 November 2025.
