Antonio discovered me in Paris and taught me a great deal about posing and modeling. He introduced me to a lot of people. He was a very talented artist, and we miss him. Fashion designer Norma Kamali once referred to Antonio Lopez as "the John Singer Sargent of our times." He redefined the craft of fashion illustration, elevating it to the level of portraiture and social portrayal.
