The perfect symmetry, a dominant sky, strange clouds and an essential tool in our daily life but a banality in the scenery of our roads in France, main subject of my project entitled “Départementales”.
Départementales is a photographic project which highlights the “abandoned of the road”.
We are so used to seeing them that they disappear in the repetitive scenery of a simple trip, or a trip. This goes from the electricity terminal, from a bus stop to water towers all over France.
The totally symmetrical geometry represents their imposing solitude crushed by a dominant and often cloudy sky.
The purpose is to restore a particular aesthetic value and a particular attention to these infrastructures essential to our daily life…
