Masked gazes #2
In 2017, I produced a series Gazes #1 and wrote:
To watch, to be astonished, to be moved and to glean, over exhibitions, some looks…
Looks in black and white or in colors. Sad looks, curious, bright, turned off by life… Reworked looks by the summer, under the sun, with the ochers of the Luberon.
Since 2020, do we look at each other the same way? Probably not. Eyes are hidden. Masked by worry, doubts, fear sometimes. Masked gazes that question, suspect, reject. Disturbing looks.
