The Festival A-part features the work of 47 contemporary artists, including many photographers. The exhibitions are held in the seven neighboring municipalities of the Alpilles. For this edition, festival founder Leïla Voight put the writer, journalist and technology specialist Ariel Kyrou in charge of programming. Together, they wanted to approach the theme of the reinvention of our nature in four areas:
-Changes to our human, animal, vegetable and spiritual nature
-Frames and “deframing” of all our senses
-Eating and meditating upside-down: digestible and indigestible nature
-Nature reinvented by itself: in sounds and shapes
