Born in Montreal, Jean-Pierre Domingue took his first pictures at age 14.
After serving as Guy Bourdin’s assistant in France in the early 1980s, Domingue moved to Paris and opened his own studio. The off-beat elegance of his photographs has attracted some of the industry’s biggest brands. Nourished by a culture that is at once artistic, cinematic and constantly evolving, Domingue transforms still images into living ones. The music videos he creates are a new form of visual poetry.
