In early 2013, after a year and a half of preparation, I spent a month in Greenland among its people to document the changes taking place. The journey took me from the 67th to 77th parallel and the most northern camps at Qaanaaq. Greenland has front-row seats to the effects of climate change, and for the past few decades has witnessed profound changes to its society. The changing environment mirrors a change towards the “Western” lifestyle of consumption. The issues face by Greenland today are beyond its borders.
