Dear friends,
First and foremost, I would like to wish you a very happy 2017, and I hope that you had a wonderful holiday and end of the year.
Unfortunately, the year began with some bad news for me. Despite the great work of Erwan, who printed our photographs and with whom I’ve work for many years, I must decide to stop my business in the gallery 15 rue de Seine in Paris. It’s a place that I hold very dear, into which I put a lot of energy, and where I spent a great deal of very warm moments with many of you. It is a place that I will miss, but I don’t have a choice.
I would like to find a solution to keep it, and I’m ready to explore all possibilities. Also, perhaps you have ideas to share with me about a new business in this wonderful space, well-placed in the heart of the Saint-Germain quarter. However, I no longer want to take care of it personally. We can, of course, imagine exhibitions there, but also studios, meetings, conferences, exchanges focused on photography and art in general.
I would be thrilled to talk with you if you have an idea to keep the business going and keep this space so unique. Or perhaps you know someone who would be capable of doing the same silly thing I did, set up a gallery!
I can be reached at any time by mail [email protected]
See you soon,
Yann Arthus-Bertrand
