The annual photo event of Yann Le Mouel auction house “Explorations Photographiques” offers 350 lots of travel photography from the 19th and 20th century. Expert Vivianne Esders put together a large choice of prints by anonymous and renown photographers, covering all five continents. Among the lots, an album on Palestine composed by Marie-Louise Stern, wife of the Marquis Louis de Chasseloup Laubat, during her visit to the Holy Land circa 1880-1900 and numerous prints on China. The photographs will be on view from today at Hotel Drouot. The sale will take place Wednesday, March 18th at 2 PM. Happy travels.
