“I was tired of the capital. Too much noise, too many people. And I couldn’t stand my neighbors anymore. I wanted a change of scenery, a change of life.”
This is how Thibaut Derien decided to create his ghost town, a collection of abandoned storefronts discovered during his walks through the city. The rectangular photographs of the artist-singer invite the viewer on a poetic journey through the deserted streets, crumbling facades and obsolete signs.
