We have just received this very sad and moving email from Michèle Chomette. Michèle is a legendary figure in the world of photography dealers and one of the pioneers of the Paris gallery scene.
On May 3rd 2017, I had a stroke. Since then, I have been hospitalized and following physical therapy as I am now hemiplegic, unable to go anywhere and unable to work for the foreseeable future.
My husband Bernard, who is not in this field of work, tries to manage the gallery, keep it open to the public with new exhibitions. But I am considering now getting rid of the lease of the gallery that is so well known .
