Offered by the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation, the HCB Prize helps artists complete projects otherwise abandoned for lack of funding.
It is designed for confirmed photographers with a battery of work in documentary style. The candidate must be presented by an institution (gallery, museum, editor…)
The undividable €30,000 award is given every two years.
In the eighteen months following the winner’s nomination, an exhibition accompanied by a catalog is held at the HCB Foundation in Paris.
