In the war between blacks and whites, the whites are winning, and with the blessing of the grand jury. On August 9th in Ferguson, Missouri, Michael Brown, his hands in the air, was shot dead by a white police officer. Since then, the same thing has happened two other times in the United States.
In France, members of the Jewish community, suspected of being rich, are being attacked. The French gendarmerie are using grenades on their citizens, like we’re back living under Vichy. Innocent but suspicious, that’s all it takes to be killed. The state, the police, the army, the justice system—the very institutions meant to protect us!
Mubarak was somehow found innocent by an Egyptian grand jury. The TPI abandoned its charges of crimes against humanity—1,000 dead, 600,000 displaced—for the president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta. Bhopal, 30 years later, people aren’t dying but they’re still sick. And in Jerusalem, Central Africa, Kobané, Daesh. The world is a cruel, chaotic mess.
