Following Los Angeles, Naples, Rome and Tokyo, Be-pole will publish Tbilisi by Vincent Lappartien’s. Since he became a photographer seven years ago, Lappartient has been featured in several magazines (Elle, Madame Figaro, Le Monde) and has worked for deluxe brands (Chanel, Yves Saint-Laurent, Hermès, Sonia Rykiel, Fendi, Christian Lacroix).
Speaking of the city of Tbilisi, the French director Raphaël Glucksmann wrote: “Walking through the silent chaos of Tbilisi’s streets at nighttime, one is invited to love, and be lost. The princess of another century, draped in a veil from the past to conceal her age, the city is an enigma, a living paradox. She is both a stranger and a familiar friend. Is it Mediterranean, Central European, or Persian even? No one knows.
