La Fundació FORVM was created in 2008 when the city of Tarragona decided to offer its support to the collection of the Galerie FORVM, founded in 1981 by Chantal Grande, David Balsells and Jordi Ortiz, with the aim of turning photography into a daily culture, to elevate photography to its rightful place among contemporary art forms. This collection brings together 1,000 works by national and international photographers.
