Hiromi
This work is a portrait series of middle-aged man “Hiromi”.
He is neither a model nor an actor.
But I was fascinated by his eyes and demeanor.
I created a beautiful and humorous portrait series with “feeling strange” by combination of the man and props.
I am a photographer and fashion designer, so I design and dye the costumes myself, as well as the shoot.
I create high-contrast color schemes with film.
The simple composition emphasizes the various production (corolla, flower earrings, dyed snacks, headdress of leaves ,glasses with eyes drawn on the lenses etc).
