Something special
My photographic work consists in producing images that allow the viewer to tell himself a story. I try to be non-directive and to leave as few clues as possible. The story must be told freely, and each of the images must remain available to the viewer to meet one of its memories. These photos are of different ages. The oldest dates back to 2005. They have been taken all over the world, but most of the time I refuse to say where they were taken, so as not to direct the imagination of those who discover them with preconceived ideas. Exoticism serves no purpose in adding to what a woman’s hand or a man’s gaze says. I’m just trying to encourage a dialogue that can lead to a new experience.
