I am a 46-year old French photographer. In my photographs, I strive to capture the spirit of places, their calm and serenity in opposition to the frantic rhythm of modern life. I try to make my images both simple and atypical. Photography is for me an opportunity to reflect on the rhythm and flow of time, and the traces it leaves in its passing. This work was mainly undertaken in Turkey, with forays into neighboring countries like Bulgaria and Montenegro.
