The series Beauty Kitsch reflects the cult of beauty that exist in today’s society. Beauty standards that is cultivated in the media, cause a pressure woman, which lead them to change themselves. As experimental animals they let to perform a variety of procedures on themselves, as well as investing money in youth cosmetic treatments and self beautifying. Photograph backgrounds of these series match the color circle tones, thus creating a parallels with the visual arts and fashion design. A women is in the middle of the color circle as an object which is stained with colors from the color palette. The question arises whether a woman is like artwork because of her personality or paints and physical appearance change. Feminist narrative shows what challenges women are willing to go through to achieve their goal to like themselves and others. Fake beauty has become the current trend, which often makes to lose individuality or even bordering on tastelessness. The series is the result of thoughts about observed efforts to expose the look to popular culture.
