Since the Non-Maison opened in 2007 I have worked with Bernard Plossu. I see his work in a special way, probably due to my background in visual arts and literature. Together we open up new paths.
I founded Résidence 43.5 to give artists of the world a change of scenery to “return to themselves.”
Abdellah Karroum, founder of Appartement 22 in Rabat, was the first curator to be invited for a residency, in 2011.
La Non-Maison and Résidence 43.5 are places of research and connection. I wanted these two people to meet. Two travelers in the world, caught between the violence of the world and the universal intimacy.
