Over a period of sixty years, Christian Rose has travelled the musical scene, compiling a colossal collection of images and encounters. A freelance photographer of rock, blues, jazz, funk… from The Clash to Tina Turner via Miles Davis and many others, he has filled the pages of numerous magazines: Jazz Magazine, International Herald Tribune, Libération, Le Monde, Guitare Mag… His entire body of work is held by the Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris and is distributed exclusively by the Roger-Viollet agency since 2024.
